Can I use Try Before You Buy on more than one piece of artwork?No. Try Before You Buy is limited to one piece of artwork at a time.

What happens if the Try Before You Buy artwork is lost or stolen when it is in my possession?You are liable for all losses and are therefore responsible for insuring the artwork against theft, loss or damage when the artwork is in your possession. If the artwork is not covered under your household or business insurance then please contact us and we will be pleased to forward you the contact details of our approved Art Insurer.

Is there a cost to use Try Before You Buy?There is no requirement for you to pay for the artwork in advance of your receiving it. You will only be charged when you confirm that you would like to purchase the artwork. There is also no cost to you for us to deliver the artwork to you. Should you decide that you do not wish to purchase the artwork then you will be responsible for the cost of returning the artwork to the gallery.

Do I need to pay a deposit?No.

What are the conditions for returning an artwork to the gallery?The artwork must be returned in the same condition as it was when it originally left the gallery. The artwork must be returned to the gallery either in person or by using an approved courier. If a courier is used then the artwork must be insured for the full value of the artwork and a tracking service used to deliver the artwork. If the artwork is lost or damaged in transit then you will be responsible for the loss or damage and will be required to pay the full cost of the artwork.

I live outside of the UK - Can I still use Try Before You Buy?No. Try Before you Buy is only available to UK residents.

What do you need from me to enable me to use Try Before You Buy?Complete the Try Before You Buy form or contact the gallery and we will have our partner Novuna email you an online application. The application only takes about 5 minutes to complete and when approved we will ship the artwork to you.

Can I use Try Before You Buy on all artwork?Due to the size and value of some of the artwork Try Before You Buy is not available for some of the artwork in the gallery. Contact the gallery and we will be pleased to advise you on a specific artwork.

I would like to purchase and keep the artwork. How can I pay for it?Before the artwork is dispatched you are required to complete the Novuna application which will include your bank details etc. When the application is approved and you have signed the agreement a payment will be taken from your designated bank 30 days after the application is signed. N.B. Payments are taken in 10 equal interest free monthly installments. If you would prefer to pay in one amount then we will cancel the agreement and you will be able to pay in full by bank transfer or bank card.

How long do I have before I must return the artwork to the gallery?You have 5 days from receipt of the artwork to advise the gallery of whether you would (or would not) like to purchase and keep the artwork. If you decide not to purchase the artwork then the artwork must be returned to (and be in receipt of) the gallery within 10 days of your advising the gallery.
