Sue Jones

Sue Jones is a renowned sculptor who was born in Shropshire but now considers Oxfordshire her spiritual home. Sue Jones lives in the Cherwell Valley, where daily walks around the vale are a ritual that helps her maintain a constant connection with nature.

Born in 1964, Sue Jones grew up in Shropshire and moved to Oxfordshire at the age of 16 to work with horses. Sue took up sculpting with the Bicester Sculpture Group in 2009. Sue works both from home and with the group in a large studio, finding this environment creative and stimulating. Sue Jones is also a member of the Oxford Sculptors Group.

Working in various materials, Sue Jones creates unique sculptures and limited editions in bronze and cold cast bronze resin. Currently, sue is focusing on unique works in stainless steel and slate, set on a variety of bases, ranging from green oak to Portland stone.
