Artist’s Statement

My interest is to reinterpret the historical classical sublime landscapes of the 17th and 18th centuries, inviting the viewer to reflect again at the sublime in relation to the negative impact of human’s activity on the planet since.

The absence of any human presence is a deliberate decision, to invite the viewer also a glance of the sublime reinstated after all human presence has gone.
